'Ramarao On Duty', starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and directed by newcomer Sarath Mandava, is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas LLP and co-produced by Ravi Teja himself under RT Teamworks. The story of the film is set in the 1990s.
The film, which is in the last lap of its production works, has locked a backup date along with a main date. The main date is March 25. But if a release is not feasible on that date, the film will head to theaters on April 15. “We love our film. At the same time, we have immense respect for other films," the makers said.
March 25 is when Rajamouli's 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' is slated to head to theatres. That's why 'Ramrao On Duty' needed a backup date.
As for 'Khiladi', it will be released in theatres on February 11.
