'Michael' is an action entertainer that is set to have a pan-India release in 2022. Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Karan C Productions LLP, it features Sundeep Kishan and 'Uppena' star Vijay Sethupathi. The Ranjit Jeyakodi directorial recently onboarded actor-director Gautham Menon for the antagonist's role. And Divyansha Kaushik of 'Majili' fame is playing the female lead.
The news is that a fresh recruit has joined the casting list. 'Naandhi' and 'Krack' actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has been enlisted to play a key character in the movie, which has already completed a schedule. Varalaxmi was recently roped in for two important Telugu movies: Balakrishna-Gopichand Malineni's NBK107, and Samantha's 'Yashoda'.
The first schedule of the movie saw the participation of Sundeep and Gautham Menon, among others.
To be made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, the film is produced by Narayan Das K Narang, Bharath Chowdary and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao.
