'Loser 2', a web series, will start streaming on ZEE5 from January 21. At an event held today in Hyderabad, the makers said that its content is meant for the OTT audience. Featuring Priyadarshi, Sashank, Kalpika Ganesh, Dhanya Balakrishna, Annie, Pavani Gangireddy and others, it is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda of Annapurna Studios.
Speaking on the occasion, Supriya said, "Some stories are meant for OTT. When it comes to a film, the narration can't be draggy. Slow narration is edited out. In a web series, even a small character or incident can be narrated in a detailed manner. It helps the viewer understand the content better. Coming to 'Loser 2', the writing department has done a very good job. We are confident that the sports drama about underdogs will definitely strike a chord with the viewer."
Director Abhilash Reddy said that so much passion went into making the series. The series is periodical in nature. He thanked his fellow writers and fellow director Shravan Madala on the occasion.
Actors Priyadarshi and Sashank thanked the technical team. The former thanked Annapurna Studios for the opportunity to act in the series.
