The teaser of 'Agent' was released today. The spy thriller has Akhil Akkineni as a ruthless and notorious patriot, as Mammotty's character from the National Security Agency puts it. He seems to have gone rogue in the eyes of the system.
After the film's heroine (Sakshi Vaidya) calls him a 'wild saale', the protagonist lives up to the description by crazily turning into a trigger-happy killing machine. Towards the end of the teaser, we see Akhil completely bruised and screaming at the top of his voice in a snow-capped location.
Plugging the stylish teaser, Sandalwood star Kichcha Sudeepa wrote, "Supaaa happy to present the trailer of my all-time favs, Akhil and director Surender Reddy's Agent. This surely is super stylish and a visual treat. Mammootty sir looks as dynamic as ever." Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan lauded Akhil's physical transformation.
Plans are afoot at producer Anil Sunkara's production house to release the movie in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
With music by Hip Hop Tamizha, it has Mammootty in a key role. With the story penned by Vakkantham Vamsi, the film has cinematography by Rasool Ellore.
'Agent' is currently in the last leg of the principal photography.
