It's now official that Chiranjeevi's 154th movie will feature Ravi Teja in a special role. Call it a supporting role or an extended cameo (we will know about it in the future), the fact is that Mythri Movie Makers has added 'Mass Force' to 'Mega Storm'.
On Saturday, in a video, we see the 'Khiladi' actor arriving on the sets of the film in an SUV. He comes out and knocks on the door of Chiru's caravan, affectionately addressing him as 'Annayya'. The 'Acharya' actor is seen wearing a colourful shirt in keeping with the nature of his character in the movie.
Incidentally, the 'Ramarao On Duty' actor is the hero of director Bobby's debut venture. He holds him in high regard. The 'Jai Lava Kusa' director is also a fan of the Megastar. He must be on cloud nine for pulling off a casting coup!
Starring Shruti Haasan as the heroine, Mega154 is produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni. Written by Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy in association with Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri, its music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
The film will head to theatres for Sankranthi next year (2023).
