'Macherla Niyojakavargam', headlined by Nithiin, is an August 12th release. The film's trailer is out.
The political-action entertainer seems to begin with romantic and comedy scenes. In Vizag, Siddarth Reddy is a fun-loving youngster who falls for a girl, played by Krithi Shetty. Vennela Kishore dishes out laughs, while Rajendra Prasad and Murli Sharma chip in with confusion comedy.
Suddenly, there is a shift in the tone. The story moves from Vizag to Macherla, where Samuthirakani is an invincible politician who hates elections. Siddarth Reddy, who has transformed into a District Collector, is his antithesis. Nithiin leaves us in no doubt that he is trying to cater to the mass audience.
Director MS Rajasekhar Reddy has given a hat-tip to Rajamouli, Trivikram and Boyapati. Nithiin shows ease, while Catherine Tresa's role is suspenseful.
The film has music by Mahati Swara Sagar.
