The Bollywood film 'Shamshera' is slated to hit the cinemas on July 22 in multiple languages, including Telugu. Its trailer was released on Friday in all languages.
Ranbir Kapoor, who awaits the theatrical release of 'Brahmastra' on September 9, has played a dual role in this ambitious flick. Also featuring Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, the film is massive in terms of scale.
The period action film is set in the 1800s. "Shamshera tells the story of a dacoit tribe, and their fight for independence against the British rule," says director Karan Malhotra. Written by Nilesh Mishra and Khila Bist, the film is produced by Aditya Chopra.
Made on a budget of Rs 150 Cr, its music is by Mithoon.
