It's known that Suriya and his wife Jyothika are serial philanthropists. They have been running an NGO in Tamil Nadu. The 'Bandobast' and 'Jai Bhim' actor has educated more than 5,000 underprivileged kids for free through his NGO.
The other day, Suriya was in Hyderabad to promote his upcoming movie 'ET'. On the occasion, the charming actor revealed that he takes inspiration from Chiranjeevi. The Megastar's Chiranjeevi Blood Bank motivated Suriya to do something selfless on a large scale.
"If Chiranjeevi Sir, can make a difference, I can contribute at least 1-2 percent of what he has been doing," IANS quoted Suriya as saying.
'ET', which is directed by Pandiraj, will hit the cinemas on March 10. It stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the heroine.
