The ace producer recently also added that he had put a couple of projects on the back burner in view of the changed tastes of the audience.
In today's news, Chiranjeevi is reported to have cast aside his entertainer with director Venky Kudumula of 'Bheeshma' fame. This project was okayed in early 2021 and announced towards the end of that year. DVV Danayya was to bankroll it. The project is unofficially a closed chapter.
The development may suggest that a lot of churning and rumination is taking place in the Mega camp. With 'Acharya' flopping heavily, Chiru knows that he doesn't have it easy. He knows that Venky Kudumula's commercial sensibilities may not suit his image.
It's good that, like Dil Raju, Chiru seems to be showing signs of understanding the audience's pulse.
