Family films about the fall-outs between couples make for a solid watch if made well. 'Donga Muddhu', which will go on the floors soon, is one such subject. Dheeraja Appaji, a prominent film journalist, is wielding the megaphone for it. After authoring a few books and handling about two hundred Telugu movies as a publicist, he is now debuting as a director.
"The series is based on the romantic tiffs between couples," the director says, adding that more details of the project will be made official soon.
As a publisher and an Entertainment Editor, Appaji comes with a vast experience of two decades. He has written novels named 'Vennela Kurisina Rathri', 'Mavayya' and 'Viplavam Vardhillali'.
