Legendary Bollywood lyricist Gulzar has released a poster of the upcoming Hindi film ‘8 A.M. Metro’, directed by Raj R of Priyadarshi's Telugu film 'Mallesham' fame. The drama is headlined by Gulshan Devaiah (of Hindi movies 'Hunterrr', 'Badhaai Do' and 'Ghost Stories' fame) and Saiyami Kher (she acted in the Telugu movies 'Rey', 'Wild Dog' and 'Highway').
Gulazar's testimonial is expected to work in the film's favour when it is released in theaters. As per the noted poet, who has provided six poems for the film, the script is warm.
As the title of the film suggests, the lead pair cross paths while commuting in a Metro. Their friendship is not instant and what transpires thereafter could have a long-lasting impact on their lives. The woman is a homemaker, while the male lead is a banker.
With music done by Mark K Robin of 'Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya' and 'Zombie Reddy' fame, the film features songs sung by some prominent names in Indian cinema.
Set to hit the cinemas on May 19, the film is going to be distributed by Shiladitya Bora’s Platoon Distribution.
