'Prachanda Tarunam Kathinya Kavyam' is the title of a drama that weds elements from the Puranas with modern technology. Sri Harshita Movies and Kala Movie Makers have joined hands for the project. Pulicharla Nagaraju, Ramachandra, and Kollakunta Nagaraju are bankrolling it.
'PTKK', directed by Bala Poluboina, was launched on Friday at Hyderabad's Film Nagar Daiva Sannidhaman. Sandalwood actor Siddharth Mahesh, veteran writer Paruchuri Gopalakrishna and others were present.
The makers come with the belief that you don't need a background if you are talented. "We believe that content is sure to appeal to everyone. When it comes to cinema, we are going to introduce a fusion genre with a script that balances all our myths and legends with science and technology. We are going to introduce a new screenplay approach to Indian cinema with this movie," the makers said.
Ashok Raj, Ritika Raj, Shrasthi Varma, Vinay Biddappa, Ugram Manju, and Ravi Teja have come together to headline the film.
Niranjan Das and PR (Peddapally Rohit) are its cinematographer and music director, respectively.
