Chiyaan Vikram, who awaits the release of 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' this April 28, is doing the pan-India film 'Thangalaan' with director Pa. Ranjith of 'Kabali' fame. Even as the shooting is reaching its final stages, a making video of the period drama has set the ball rolling. We see the 'Cobra' star go to any lengths to get into the skin of his character.
"Presenting you a slice of flesh, a grand making visual video of Thangalaan as our humble tribute to Chiyaan," the director tweeted, sharing the video.
Starring Parvathy T and Malavika Mohanan in pivotal roles, the film has Vikram in a raw and gritty role. It will be released in all major South Indian languages, Bengali, Marathi and Odia.
Studio Green's KE Gnanavel Raja and Pa. Ranjith's Neelam Productions have joined hands with UV Creations, which is also producing Suriya's 'Kangavu'.
It has also been made official that Hollywood artist Daniel Caltagirone is part of the cast. The music is by GV Prakash Kumar.
