Bellamkonda Sreenivas hasn't been seen around much. The pandemic has slowed things down for his career considerably. 'Alludu Adhurs' two years ago was his last release. He awaits the release of the Hindi remake of 'Chatrapathi', directed by VV Vinayak.
And now, the 'Rakshasudu' actor is in the news over his father, Bellamkonda Suresh, reportedly wanting to remake the Tamil film 'Bakasuran' in Telugu. The film, starring Selvaraghavan in the lead, was released in theatres in Tamil Nadu last week. An action thriller drama, it involves gruesome murders by a male vigilante and police investigation into them.
Two years back, Srinivas was supposed to act in the Telugu remake of Dhanush's Tamil movie 'Karnan'. Its remake rights are with Suresh himself.
Srinivas started doing a film titled 'Stuartpuram Donga' in 2021. Nothing has been heard about it since.
