The star heroine of the 1980s, Khushbu Sundar, has been made a member of the National Commission for Women by the NDA government. The news is that Chiranjeevi has welcomed the appointment.
The 'Waltair Veerayya' actor on Monday opined that the actress, who will soon be seen in 'Rama Banam' starring Gopichand, deserves the position. The 'Bholaa Shankar' star wished Khushbu all the best.
"You most certainly deserve this position. Trust your presence as a member of the NCW will ensure greater focus on and more efficient redressal of all relevant issues pertaining to women and empower their voice even more. Wishing you the Best," Chiru wrote.
Earlier, thanking PM Narendra Modi, she wrote that she has been entrusted with a huge responsibility. "I shall strive hard to protect, preserve & nourish Nari Shakthi which is growing leaps & bounds under your leadership. Looking forward eagerly," the actress and BJP leader from Tamil Nadu added.
