Adivi Sesh is one of the very few heroes of today's Telugu cinema to come with no film background. With nearly half a dozen hits in a row, he is also a star in his own right.
In a recent interview, the 'Kshanam' and 'HIT 2' actor hit out at the culture of Nepotism in the film industry without sounding bitter or too critical. Speaking to a national magazine, the 'Goodachari' star quipped that the southern cinema has got 10 heroes per film family.
He went on to suggest that outsiders don't stand a chance, given that the well-connected actors would get the first chance to lay their hands on the best scripts.
The number of good scripts is outweighed by the number of star heroes from film families, he suggested. Sesh made the remarks in the context of him penning stories on his own.
