Kartikeya Gummakonda is playing an entertaining part in 'Bedurulanka 2012', a dramedy starring 'DJ Tillu' fame Neha Sshetty as the heroine. Set in a noisy and crowded Godavari village, the film is going to head to the theatres soon.
The news is that the drama-comedy has sealed an attractive theatrical deal with Village Groupe, a US-based distribution company. The film has received Rs 80 lakh by way of US theatrical release rights.
The deal is the best in the career of 'RX 100' actor thus far.
Recently, Sony Music shelled out Rs 50 lakh to acquire the film's audio rights.
Director Clax and producer Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni are elated about the popularity of the film ahead of its release. Its non-theatrical rights are also encouraging. At this rate, the 'Chaavu Kaburu Challaga' actor's film is going to reap profits on the table even before its theatrical arrival!
