Nandamuri Balakrishna, the other day, used the words 'Akkineni, Thokkineni' in quick succession. He sounded disrespectful towards ANR in doing so.
On Tuesday, both Naga Chaitanya and Akhil hit out at the 'Veera Simha Reddy' star without taking his name. In a statement, the two brothers said that NTR, ANR and SV Ranga Rao are pillars of Telugu cinema. "Disrespecting them is degrading ourselves," the actors, who are sons of Akkineni Nagarjuna, tweeted.
In his speech, the 'Akhanda' actor also made a somewhat disrespectful reference to SV Ranga Rao by saying that he was no match to his father, NTR.
The statement issued by the Akkineni brothers goes to show that they are hurt by Balayya's speech. Are we going to see Nagarjuna, too, issue a statement against Balayya's comments?
