Satyadev Kancharana's 26th film is a crime drama directed by Eashvar Karthic. 'Pushpa' fame actor Daali Dhananjaya has a lead role in the movie.
'Zebra' is the film's title. Its title logo is thought-provoking. A speedometer probably indicating the theme of a race against time, is seen as a crucial element of the logo. Then we see the commercial filmmakers' favourite trope of chess pieces. A white knight and a black knight hint at a tricky situation.
Coming with the caption 'Luck Favors The Brave', the film seems to boast of a wide variety of characters covering a range of shades. "We are satisfied with the output so far. Fifty days of the shoot have been wrapped up. The upcoming schedules will be done in Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai," the makers said.
'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam' actress Priya Bhavani Shankar and Bollywood actress Jennifer Piccinato are its female leads. Also featuring Sathyaraj, Sathya Akala and Sunil (recently roped in for Rajinikanth's 'Jailer', among other movies), the film is yet to lock its release date.
To be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, the film has music by Ravi Basrur of 'KGF' fame. "His music will accentuate our movie. His BGM is going to be original and thrilling," the makers today said.
SN Reddy of Padmaja Films and his fellow producers Bala Sundaram and Dinesh Sundaram are very confident about the film's success. The dialogues have been penned by Meeraqh.
