'Ma Oori Polimera-2' is slated to hit the cinemas in the last week of July or early August. Its teaser launch event was held on Friday in the presence of Mega Prince Varun Tej.
Satyam Rajesh and Kamakshi Bhaskarla have got the most significant parts. Produced by Shree Krishna Creations, the film is helmed by Dr. Anil Vishwanath.
Speaking at the teaser launch event, Varun Tej endorsed both 'Maa Oori Polimera 1' and 'Ma Oori Polimera-2', saying that the teaser for the latter is super interesting.
Producer Gowr Kriesna said that he decided to produce the sequel to 'Ma Oori Polimera-1' after watching the latter on OTT. He hopes that the film's screenplay and direction will impress the audience. Gowr Kriesna has made the film on a big canvas by spending crores on production values.
Director Dr. Anil Vishwanath said that the film's dialogues are going to be raw and bold, befitting the rural backdrop. The prevalence of black magic and the debate around the forbidden practice has been highlighted. Shot in multiple locations across India, the film also showcases some scenes in the backdrop of a famous temple in Kerala. "The film is going to be unpredictable in terms of the twists and turns," he added.
Actress Kamakshi said that her character has been designed so well. "I am a doctor and a theater artist. So, I see the character as a character," she added.
Satyam Rajesh revealed that he had to gain ten kilos for the film. "I was a bit scared when I had to do some scenes in the graveyard. The director and producer have made the movie on a grand scale," he added.
Gyaani (music), Khushender Ramesh Reddy (cinematography), and others are part of the cast. Getup Srinu, Rakendu Mouli, and others are part of the cast.
