Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal' will hit the cinemas on December 1. The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer has been postponed from August 11 to December 1 for a reason.
Taking to social media today, the director said that quality post-production works are causing the unforeseen delay. He suggested that he wants 'Animal' to feel like a straight film not only in Hindi but also in Telugu, Tamil and other languages. "Had I known that post-production works would have been delayed, I wouldn't have released the pre-teaser on June 11," the 'Arjun Reddy' maker said.
He thanked the audience for lapping up the pre-teaser in a resounding way. "The visuals shown in it will make it to the final version. 'Animal' is a huge film in terms of emotions and the story it is telling," Vanga added.
T Series and Bhadrakali Pictures are planning to release the teaser a few weeks later. Starring Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, the film has Anil Kapoor in a key role. With fights by Supreme Sundar, its background music is by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. Suresh Selvarajan of 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Robot' fame is its production designer.
