'Mangalavaaram' is slated to be released in theatres soon. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi of 'RX 100' fame, the film's teaser was unveiled today.
The teaser, at about 60 seconds, has been titled 'Fear In Eyes' for a reason. Existential fear is the defining theme of the video, which shows Payal Rajput as a seemingly complex character. From desire to dread, from religious symbolism to power dynamics in a hamlet, the teaser conveys a lot of themes.
Ajaneesh Loknath B of 'Kantara' and the more recent 'Virupaksha' fame is composing music. Chaitanya Krishna, Ajay Ghosh, Laxman of 'RX 100' fame and other artists are part of the cast. The most popular and familiar face, Payal, is at the centrestage around whom the story revolves and evolves.
A Creative Works and Mudhra Media Works are working with art director Raghu Kulkarni and sound designer MR Rajakrishnan. Dasaradhi Sivendra (cinematography), Real Satish and Pruthvi Shekar (fights), Syed Yajuddin, and Kalyan Raghav (dialogues) have worked on the movie.
