The teaser for 'Salaar' was released in the wee hours of Thursday. Hombale Films is banking on the story, screenplay and directorial prowess of Prashanth Neel as much as the superstardom of Prabhas, whose swag and calm heroism hit like a storm. Remarkably, it has been made official that 'Salar' will have a second part.
Admittedly, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 400 Cr. Fourteen grand sets under the aegis of production designers Shivakumar and TL Venkatachalapathi are going to make the film's 'KGF'-like aesthetics even more special. Ravi Basrur's score is dashing.
With Prithviraj Sukumaran's character also at the centrestage, the film features Shruthi Hassan, Tinu Anand, Jagapathi Babu and others.
Prabhas is set to slay the demons in the metaphorical Jurassic Park like a wild beast. The stunts are by Anbarivu.
The costumes are by Thota Vijay Bhaskar. The film is edited by Ujwal Kulkarni, while the dialogue is written by Sandeep Reddy Bandla, Hanuman Chaudhary and DR Suri. Raghav Tamma Reddy is taking care of VFX as the supervisor. Krishan Kanth has penned the lyrics.
The film will arrive at the cinemas on September 28.
