'Baby' was released in theatres this Friday. Soon after Thursday's paid premieres, Vijay Deverakonda spoke to the media and congratulated the whole team. He was visibly happy for his younger brother, Anand Deverakonda, who has played his career's most emotional role.
"I thank all the audience for coming here to watch the premieres. All these people including Anand, Viraj Ashwin and Vaishnavi Chaitanya made me feel emotional and cry," the 'Kushi' actor said.
Director Sai Rajesh and producer SKN of Mass Movie Makers also came in for appreciation from the 'Arjun Reddy' actor.
Actress Raashii Khanna described 'Baby' as a great love story. About SKN, she said that he always supports content-driven cinema.
Director Maruthi, another guest, said that the film is best watched in theatres. "Don't wait for it on OTT," he added.
The film comes with a poignant ending. "The second half is involving throughout. The first half is somewhat slow-paced but you won't mind the pace if you keep looking for hints to where Vaishnavi's thinking is headed. Awesome lead performances, excellent dialogues and a heart-rending climax make it a superb outing," we said in our review of the latest love story.
