'Sita Ramam' star Dulquer Salmaan is set to return to the big screen this August. This time, he is headlining a gangster drama. Titled 'King of Kotha', the Abhilash Joshiy directorial has the 'Mahanati' star in the titular role.
The Telugu version's teaser of the pan-India film was today released digitally by Superstar Mahesh Babu, who wrote that Dulquer is playing a promising role in 'KOK'.
Produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios, the film co-stars Shabeer Kallarakkal, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gokul Suresh, Shammi Thilakan and others. Jakes Bejoy and Shaan Rahman have set the songs to tune, while the BGM is by the former.
Sharing the teaser for the Onam release, Dulquer wrote, "Hold your breath as we present the action-packed Teaser of #KingOfKotha. Get ready for a blast this ONAM 2023! (sic)." To be released in theatres in five languages, 'KOK' is written by Abhilash N Chandran.
