Sreekar Prasad, who has edited films in 17 languages so far, became an editor 40 years ago. As he completes a landmark year, celebrities such as SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR have profusely congratulated him.

A recipient of nine National Film Awards, Prasad famously won two Nandi Awards as well. 'Okkadu' and 'Manoharam' fetched him awards from the Nandi jury. The 2002 Bollywood film 'Dil Chahta Hai' gave him his first-ever Filmfare Award.
'Annamayya', 'Nuvve Kavali', 'Nuvvu Naaku Nachav', 'Khadgam', 'Manmadhudu', 'Malliswari', 'Arjun', 'Naani', 'Athadu', 'Khaleja', 'Saaho' and the recent 'Virata Parvam' are among his well-known Telugu movies.
