Janhvi Kapoor has joined the 'Little Mermaid' hype. On Saturday, the 'Devara' heroine put out a "magical video" of herself stepping into the fantastical world of Princess Ariel. She is seen metamorphosing into a beautiful mermaid, much to the delight of two fantasy-loving kids.
As is known, the American musical fantasy film is slated to be released in theaters on May 26.
Co-produced by Walt Disney Pictures and others, the Rob Marshall directorial features Halle Bailey as Ariel and others. Disney India is coming up with an exclusive English-language release in India.
What is the film's premise? "'The Little Mermaid' tells the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric," the makers said.
"Complicated, cutting-edge techniques" have been used in making the visual extravaganza.
