Kollywood actress Vanitha Vijaykumar was recently seen in 'Malli Pelli' as VK Naresh's manipulative girlfriend. On Sunday, she is in the news for being attacked by an unknown assailant. As per media reports, the attacker is the supporter of a Bigg Boss Tamil participant whom Vanitha had criticized recently. Read it again to let that sink in!
Tamil actor Pradeep Antony is a participant in the seventh season of Bigg Boss Tamil. He was recently evicted from the reality show. Vanitha supported his eviction in her YouTube review of the reality show.
In her tweet, Vanitha put the blame for the attack on one of Antony's fans. "Brutally attacked by god knows who! A so-called Pradeep Antony supporter. I was in so much pain bleeding in my face and yelling. No one around was around 1 am. I called my sister to come down. She urged me to go report this incident to the police but I told her I lost trust in the process," the victim wrote on Twitter.
She further added, "I took first aid and left home with rage. I was not able to identify my attacker. He laughed like a lunatic which haunts my ears. Taking a break from everything, as I am not in a physical condition to appear on screen."
Vanitha's claims have to be independently verified by authorities. There will be people who will raise doubts about the authenticity of her allegation.
