On Sunday, a case of suicide by a doctor named Nunna Kiran Chowdary (33) came to light. The doctor killed himself in Kakinada allegedly because he lost access to the original land documents of a property belonging to him. The deceased’s mother Sesharatnam lodged a complaint and reportedly told a few TV channels that YSRC leader Pedababu of Achampet and 'Bangarraju' director Kurasala Kalyana Krishna had promised her son help to end the property disputes. "They took away the original documents, never to return them," she was quoted as saying by DC. Kalyan Krishna is related to a former Minister belonging to the ruling YCP. He has also directed 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' and 'Nela Ticket' in the past.
The DC report further said that TDP leaders too made a similar allegation against Kalyan Krishna. "He purchased five acres of land and grabbed the original documents from doctor Kiran without paying any money," an Opposition leader was quoted as saying.
However, as per some other reports, the mother has since withdrawn her statements.
