Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar will be seen in this week's release 'Operation Raniganj'. Come 2024, the prolific actor will be seen in five releases in total. Their combined budget is more than Rs 400 Cr.
'Start Up', the remake of Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru', will hit the cinemas on February 16. On April 10, 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' will be out. On October 2, he will be seen in 'Skyforce', a period drama set in the times of Lal Bahadur Shastri. On November 1, he will be seen in the comedy entertainer 'Housefull 5'. On December 20, his last release of the year, 'Welcome 3', will be out.
The actor is known to complete films fast. At times, he doesn't seek remuneration but a share in profits. His most recent film, 'OMG 2', is a case in point. The film's budget was a mere Rs 50 Cr. After it became a box-office hit, a substantial share in profits went to him.
