A new web series titled 'Athidhi' is all set to be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar from September 19. The horror thriller stars Venu Thottempudi as the male protagonist. This is his OTT debut. "What happens when a beautiful girl knocks on your door on a dark rainy night?" a poster of the web show asks.
"We are happy to announce the streaming date. Director Praveen Sattaru of 'PSV Garuda Vega' fame is the showrunner, while Bharath YG has wielded the megaphone. We are confident that those who love spooky thrillers will embrace 'Athidhi'," Random Frames Entertainment said in a statement.
Avantika Mishra, Aditi Gautam, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Ravi Varma, Bhadram and others will be seen in the series.
The OTT platform, which has presented web series such as 'Save The Tigers', 'Shaitan' and 'Dayaa' in Telugu, is going to come up with a few more Telugu originals in the near future.
