'Kumari Srimathi' is the title of an upcoming web series to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video soon. Nithya Menen is its headliner. The 'Skylab' and 'Bheemla Nayak' actress is playing a wannabe businesswoman in this coming-of-age drama.
Vyjayanthi Movies, which is currently bankrolling the humongous 'Kalki 2898 AD' with Prabhas as the hero, has produced the comedy-drama.
Srinivas Avasarala, who has previously directed 'Jyo Achyuthananda' and the recent 'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi', is its creator. He is also its dialogue and screenplay writer. Gomtesh Upadhye, previously a director of photography, has wielded the megaphone.
'Kumari Srimathi' has got music by Staccato and Kamran. Mohana Krishna is its cinematographer. With production design by Latha Naidu, this one has 'Masooda' fame Thiruveer, 'Care Of Kancharapalem' fame Praneeta Patnaik and the talented VK Naresh in key roles.
As for Nithya Menen, she was recently seen in the SonyLIV series 'Wonder Women'. Last year, she was seen in the Tamil theatrical blockbuster 'Thiruchitrabalam'. The multi-lingual actress also played a Muslim woman in 'Modern Love: Hyderabad', the anthology streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
