Director Tharun Bhascker recently tasted a mixed result with 'Keedaa Cola'. The crime comedy with naturalistic performances didn't fetch the expected results for the 'Pelli Choopulu' maker.
The rumour in the town is that the 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' director is going to be back to acting assignments. After playing lead role in 'Keedaa Cola', he will be fronting the Telugu remake of 'Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey', the Malayalam-language black comedy. The film is a satire on gender stereotypes. The original version was directed by Vipin Das. Probably, a different director is going to wield the megaphone for the Telugu remake.
In the past, Tharun has acted in movies such as 'Sita Ramam', 'Das Ka Dhamki', 'Falaknuma Das' and 'Skylab'. He played a lead role in 'Meeku Maathrame Cheptha'. "Anybody can act! If you overcome fear and if you are not conscious in front of the camera, you can be an actor. I want my actors to be natural. I have always auditioned artists for my characters," he said in an interview.
