When Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced their divorce in 2021, several theories were floated about the most probable reason for their divorce. One set believed that Chay was not happy with Samantha doing songs like 'Oo Antaava' in 'Pushpa: The Rise'. It was rumoured that she wanted to do bold roles but the Akkinenis were not happy with her decision.

Sobhita Dhulipala has done hotter roles and yet the 'Thank You' and 'Custody' actor is marrying her owing to his love for her. Chay and Sobhita got engaged on Thursday. The Akkinenis are planning to announce the wedding date later this year.
