Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has appreciated Prabahs and Ram Gopal Varma for making it beyond Telugu cinema through their sheer dint and hard work. No prizes for guessing what is common between the two cinema stalwarts.
Addressing a gathering at the Kshatriya Seva Samithi in Hyderabad, the CM mentioned the 'Baahubali' duology in his speech. "Nobody else other than Prabhas can be imagined for the roles in 'Baahubali'. That movie possessed the quality to compete with Hollywood movies," Revanth said.
Reminding the public that Prabhas is a Kshatriya was the main aim behind the reference. As the CM invoked the name of the 'Kalki 2898 AD' and 'Salaar' actor, youngsters in the crowd cheered and clapped.
Revanth said that Ram Gopal Varma is a good friend of his. He also paid a passing homage to Krishnam Raju, Prabhas' late uncle.
