The other day, the actress endorsed the inhalation of hydrogen peroxide through a nebulizer. Dr Abby Philips, who is a strong advocate against such therapies, took to social media to criticize Samantha. He said that hydrogen peroxide is proven to be dangerous.
In a post, the doctor wrote, "Samantha is a serial offender in the context of healthcare misinformation and she has been in the line of fire previously too." He also opined that health influencers like her should be thrown into prison.
Samantha described the doctor's slamming of her as provocative. She added that she is using hydrogen peroxide solution upon the advice of an MD doctor who has worked for the DRDO for 25 years.
Actor Rahul Ravindran, a friend of Samantha, observed that the two doctors involved must engage in an open debate.
