Vennela Kishore used to be the numero uno comedian among the young lot till the pandemic phase. But, of late, Satya seems to be overtaking him.
In recent times, films like 'Vivaha Bhojanambu', 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindi', 'Bedurulanka 2012', 'Rangabali', 'Krishna Vrinda Vihari', among others, have offered Satya good roles. Also, the promotional skit done by Satya with Naga Shaurya before the release of 'Rangabali' made him more popular than several movie roles he has played. 'Mathu Vadalara', which was released just before the pandemic, was also a big plus for him.
On the other hand, Vennela Kishore hasn't got anything memorable apart from the casteist chauvinist role he played in 'Samajavaragamana'. He was very good in 'Happy Birthday', too. Kishore seems to have wasted his time on 'Chaari 111', the spy comedy in which he played the lead role. The film flopped at the box-office. Big ticket films like 'Family Star' and 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' have failed him.
