The Tamil-language drama 'Meiyazhagan' will be released simultaneously in both Tamil and Telugu on September 27. 'Sathyam Sundaram' is the title of the Telugu-dubbed version.
Incidentally, the film is getting released on the same date as Jr NTR's behemoth, 'Devara'. As such, it might not find takers among audiences. Asian-Suresh Group is distributing the film in the Telugu States.
Also starring Sri Divya, Rajkiran, Swathi Konde, Devadarshini and others, the film has music by Govind Vasanth. "Karthi and Arvind Swami play cousins cut from different cloth," The Hindu said in its review of the film's Teaser. "Exemplary writing has the power to fully immerse us. 'Meiyazhagan', is one such rare and wholesome film that takes us to our roots. Sharing with great joy a glimpse of our creation with you dear ones," wrote Karthi, plugging the Teaser. 'Sathyam Sundaram' is produced by the Suriya-Jyothika duo on 2D Entertainment.
