The Raja Saab has given me unforgettable experiences: Nidhhi Agerwal

In The Raja Saab, Nidhhi Agerwal plays a Nun who looks the part. In her first post-release interview, the star heroine says that lots of discussions and brainstorming went into the role. "I proudly say that I belong to Telugu cinema. Recently, when I visited Mumbai, many people spoke about how Telugu films are being made on such a large scale with high quality," says Nidhhi in this interview.

Since I was a child, I have dreamed of being a lead actress, and I feel so lucky to be living that dream today. My only goal is to continue taking on roles that are both meaningful and purposeful.

After pouring nearly three years of work into this project, seeing such a positive response from the audience is incredibly rewarding. The film has found its stride and continues to perform exceptionally well at the box office. Since I knew the entire story, I was confident that the audience would be able to connect with the content.

The film's core idea is that of Good confronting Evil. Divinity versus evil clash head-on. Tantric practices and mind games add to the thrill. I personally loved Prabhas sir's performance in the hospital scene.

Prabhas sir never behaves like a pan-India superstar. He is always friendly and sweet.

A project of this magnitude demands a producer with immense passion, and Vishwa Prasad garu of People Media Factory is exactly that. His refusal to compromise on visual effects, elaborate sets, or overall production standards is evident in every frame.

Juggling the schedules for Hari Hara Veera Mallu and The Raja Saab at the same time was intense. I was constantly traveling and barely getting any sleep. But for the support of the team behind the horror-fantasy comedy, it would have been so hard for me. The director handled large-scale scenes involving many artists with so much ease.

I am a total scaredy-cat when it comes to ghosts! Even now, I usually sleep with all the lights on and keep the Hanuman Chalisa on loop throughout the night just to feel safe. I faced no eerie situations while shooting for The Raja Saab.

Acting is my true passion. Therefore, all the hard work and challenges never felt like a burden. The shoot was not easy, particularly in the portions involving VFX, where we had to do the imagination part to get our portions right.

I am currently balancing three Telugu films alongside two Hindi projects. Given how much my work in Telugu cinema has grown, I have decided to make Hyderabad my permanent home and have recently purchased a house here.
