Thandel is currently eyeing a Sankranthi release. But director Chandoo Mondeti today hinted at its postponement.
The reason is obvious. As things stand, Ram Charan's Game Changer releases on January 10. Allu Aravind, whose film Thandel is, might desire not clash with the Charan movie. While this has been speculated for some time, today's utterance by the movie's director hints at the inevitability.
So, Thandel could be a February 2025 or a later release.
'Thandel', produced by Bunny Vas of Geetha Arts, is a pan-Indian movie. Sai Pallavi's presence in the film is highly anticipated. As per media reports a few months ago, the movie's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix for an unbelievable figure of Rs 40 Cr for Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi versions.
