Anaganaga Oka Raju has grossed Rs 110 Cr at the box office. Its success celebrations were held on Friday in the presence of the team.

Speaking on the occasion, actor Naveen Polishetty said that this Sankranthi will be remembered for a long time by the families of those associated with AOR. He termed the success as generational.

"I thank everyone who bought tickets to our film on Day 1 just out of faith in me. Our distributors and exhibitors today have spoken at length about the commercial success of AOR. My only aim as an actor is to keep my producer, distributors and exhibitors happy. When I listen to a script, I think about whether it has the calibre to fetch profits for all stakeholders. Some of these distributors have distributed all my four films. And none of them made losses. No journey in the film industry is easy. I transitioned from YouTube to cinema. I am the first one to make a mark as a lead actor after such a transition. When I started out, everyone tried to scare me saying a YouTuber has never been a successful lead actor in the past," Polishetty shared.

The writing phase was not easy. Polishetty had his doubts because he faced the writer's block during the scripting of AOR. "Hard work always pays. Success is waiting for you on the other side. Raju in this film wants easy money. The central message of AOR is that there are no short-cuts in life. Our genuine intentions have been conveyed. Without the support of Naga Vamsi garu, the film wouldn't have shaped up this way. He has been the silent force behind this project. I also thank Trivikram garu and Radhakrishna S garu, who viewed the film as Generation Z audience members," the hero added.

Naga Vamsi remarked that the biggest sign of success for a film producer is his distributors attending success celebrations with a smile. "Their words make my speech today unnecessary," the producer added.

Meenakshi Chaudhary described the blockbuster status as special. "I hope the audience's love keeps growing," she added.

Guest and director Bobby Kolli praised Polishetty's timing. "Even when he was in bed after an accident, he energetically kept thinking ideas and stories. He worked with a team of writers, many of whom couldn't match his energy levels. I happened to meet with Chiranjeevi garu the other day. He told me Polishetty is one of his favourites among the younger crop of actors," the Waltair Veerayya maker added.

Guest and producer Dil Raju lauded Naga Vamsi's passion and love for cinema. "There is so much to learn from him. I congratulate the cast and crew of AOR. Last year, Meenakshi was part of my banner's blockbuster. When we watched AOR before its theatrical release, we knew that it will be seen as a laugh riot by the audience. Naveen Polishetty worked hard, day in and day out, for this output. I am happy for him," Raju, who is the film's Nizam distributor, added.
