In a recent chit-chat involving YouTube reviewers, a Telugu cinema critic claimed to know the story of Ram Charan's Peddi. "I not only know the story but also believe that it's silly. The film doesn't deserve a song like Chikiri Chikiri," the reviewer said. Peddi stars Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine.
The fans of the Mega Power Star are offended and angry. They have tagged Mythri Movie Makers, asking the production house to silence him anyhow. Many called him a "parasite" for trying to spread "misinformation" about the Buchi Babu Sana directed movie, to be released in theatres on 27 March 2026.
Vijay Gopal, an advocate, defended the reviewer. "Everyone seems to think they feed someone else. Content is the king, not opinions. Stop making only bad movies and don't blame youngsters who talk their mind. People can also call filmmakers parasites for making flop movies and wasting the audience's money. Audience will always have an opinion. Take it or leave it. You all outdated people need to grow up," he wrote.
Peddi stars Ram Charan as a villager who takes to cricket. AR Rahman is its music director.
