Set to be released in theatres on July 4, Solo Boy stars Gautham Krishna, Shweta Avasthi and Ramya Pasupuleti in leading roles. Its pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening.

Several guests were in attendance. VV Vinayak said that producer 'Seven Hills' Satish had entered the film industry with the aim of becoming a director. "I am happy that he has made Solo Boy with passion. I hope he materializes his dream of wielding the megaphone. I sincerely wish that hero Gautham Krishna has a great future ahead. Producer Satish is a devotee of Lord Venkateswara. I hope His blessings make him a successful producer," Vinayak said.

Guest and producer Dhamu said that "passion" has been used recklessly these days. "Very few people are genuinely passionate. 'Seven Hills' Satish is one among them. He is extremely passionate. Since his dream is to become a director, I hope he becomes one soon. Solo Boy is not a small film. If a film becomes a hit, it is big. Whichever film does well commercially is big," he added.

Hero Gautham Krishna thanked producer 'Seven Hills' Satish for the opportunity. "Right since childhood, I had acting dreams. I never thought logically. I never had self-doubts.I just marched on. Many people give up once they face a setback. But one among a million never gives up. He resolves to face anything in life. This mentality is what I learned from my parents. Many middle-class people have this mindset. As a child, I was witness to my parents' financial struggles. Yet, my father bravely faced the odds. To me, he is the 'solo boy'. Our movie is about such men. Our director, Naveen, is 48. He faced numerous rejections and yet stayed committed for decades. He never gave up. Solo Boy has been made on a budget of Rs 2.5 Cr. In such a low budget, he has executed an extraordinary project. If you can show me a better-quality product, I will concede defeat. Anitha Chowdhary garu played my mother. She readily gave up half of her remuneration to support us. Posani Krishna Murali garu's character is quite important. His performance in one of the scenes gave me goosebumps on set. Ramya Pasupaleti's character will attain a cult status in TFI. If you watch this movie, you will become determined to never give up in life no matter how many people around you demotivate you," Gautham Krishna said.

Director Naveen Kumar described Solo Boy as a content film with a beautiful love story, family drama and action. "The hero's character has sentiment, a love story, a breakup phase, action, and a family emotion. There are two beautiful heroines, but they are not limited to just the songs. Anithat Chowdhary's performance will move you to tears. Posani Krishna Murali and others have breathed life into the movie with their performances. There are five beautiful songs with amazing tunes," the director said.

Producer 'Seven Hills' Satish said that every journey begins from Point 0. "This film started from nowhere. "Gautham Krishna is a multi-faceted talent. He is an actor, writer, director and more. His family supports him in every way. Solo Boy should become a milestone in his career. Solo Boy is not any random movie. It will be remembered for long. It's about real struggles. It's a sensible story. It's releasing this Friday," the producer said.
