Haiku is the title of an upcoming movie starring Aegan, Sridevi Apalla (Court fame) and Femina George. The "slice-of-life romantic drama" landed its first look in December last year.
The news is that the film's shoot commenced on Sunday days after Netflix bought its streaming rights even before its production began. The streaming giant, otherwise known for star vehicles across languages and genres, moved the needle on Haiku without losing time. Haiku's buzz is evident from the development.
Producers Dr. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu plan to release the movie, not just in Telugu, but also in Tamil and Malayalam. Vision Cinema House is working with director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy. Hariharan Ram is co-writing the screenplay.
Vijai Bulganin of Baby fame is the music director. Also featuring Adhirchi Arun, the film's cinematography is by Priyesh Gurusamy. Edited by Sakthi Pranesh, its Art Direction is by Viju Vijayan. Dinesh Manoharan and Anusha Vishwanathan, respectively, have handled costumes and choreography.
