Producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy is enamoured by the "intense love story" in SKY, set to hit the cinemas on February 6. Ahead of the movie's theatrical release, a presser was held on Saturday.
"Having watched the movie, I can endorse its content, its music and visuals. Rasool Ellore's cinematography is excellent. So much thought went into deciding the caption," Sreedhar Reddy stated.
Producer Nagireddy Guntaka appreciated the immense passion, dedication and commitment shown by the cast and crew behind SKY. "You are in for a refreshing love story filled with heart-touching emotions through and through," he remarked with complete confidence in the content of SKY.
Actor Murali Krishnam Raju's speech was emblematic of his simplicity. While he is the hero of SKY, he had the humility to call the director and producers as the de facto heroes. They overcame whatever obstacle fell on the way of the promising film. He particularly praised composer Shiva Prasad, who had been a cabbie before. SKY's songs are sweet and successful.
Director Prudhvi Pericharla went in for the shoot musically prepared. Not just the music director, even the cinematographer's support helped him wrap up production in time. The comfortable pacing of both production and post-production have made SKY what it is. The guidance provided by the experienced members of the crew aided the newcomers among the cast. The synergies were appreciated. He has designed entertaining characters, like that of KLK Mani Bamma, who plays a highly socializing grandmom.
Shruti Shetty plays the female protagonist. From the film's teaser and trailer, it is evident that her character's emotions and dialogue come from a place of emotional weight. Describing acting in SKY as a case of a "beautiful journey", she thanked the makers for the opportunity.
Music Director Shiva Prasad thanked the movie's director for letting his creative juices flow. He briefly spoke about how he has made it this far in the industry despite his humble background. "Working on this project provided a sense of belonging I haven’t felt in a long time. It is a truly heart-warming love story," said Rasool Ellore.
Produced by Valour Entertainment Studios, SKY is edited by Suresh Urs. Nagireddy Guntaka, Prudhvi Pericharla, Srilakshmi Guntaka, and Murali Krishnam Raju have produced it.
