Lakshmi Prasanna is truly going places. This multi-talented lady who has just begun her filmy career as a producer cum actor is presently producing the film ‘Uu Kodatara Ulikki Padatara’ starring Balakrishna and Manchu Manoj Kumar. She is also working for Ram Gopal Varma’s Bollywood film ‘Department’. Besides that she is going to produce and act in a bilingual film titled ‘Gundello Godari’ opposite another talented actor Aadi Pinishetty. Now Lakshmi mentioned in twitter saying, “What an amazing day…Launched Tamil film with Manoj as producer and signed a movie as an actor with MANIRATNAM himself.”
The movie titled 'Pookadai' is Maniratnam's next romantic flick in which he is going to introduce Karthik's son Gautham as hero. Lakshmi Prasanna has been signed for a key role in this film.
