Right from the time I announced that I would be crafting ‘Ramayanam’ in my own style, everyone started to think that it would either be a parody or a comedy. But my ‘Ramayanam’ will be dignified as well as serious in lines with the family thriller ‘Sarkar’.
Dasarath Rao is the own of Ayodhya Group of Companies located in Jeedimetta. Dasarath Rao’s elder son, Ram Shankar pursues MBA in Oxford University. His second son Lakshman Shankar, will discontinue his education after his B.Tech 3rd year. Kaikeyi Agarwal is Dasarath Rao’s second wife. He meets her in Gujarat when he goes on a business trip and marries her. He lives with Kausalya in a bungalow in Jubilee Hills and maintains Kaikeyi Agarwal in an apartment in Begumpet. Bharath Kumar is the son of Kaikeyi and Dasarath Rao. While Dasarath Kumar wanted Bharath Kumar also to study abroad like Ram Shankar, Bharath Kumar has inferiority complex. Janak Nath is the owner of Mithila Constructions in Madhapur and has a daughter by name Seeta Lakshmi. Ram Shankar will solve a problem in Janak Nath’s company where he meets Seeta Lakshmi and marries her. Mandara Fernandes is the kitty party friend for Kaikeyi Agarwal who keeps instigating Kaikeyi about Dasarath Rao.
Ravan Raju is the owner of Lanka Group of Companies and has a younger brother Bheeshan Raju, who is a high court lawyer and a younger sister Surpana, a party animal and drug addict.
Valesh is the popular gunda in Hakimpet area who is never in good terms with his younger brother Sugreev. Sugreev runs a fruit market in Amberpet which will be managed by Anji and who protects Sugreev from Vaali gundas. Anji will meet Ram Shankar in a land deal and their association will turn into friendship.
Ram Shankar will be maintaining a Sick unit called Panchvathi Mineral Waters that belongs to Ayodhya Group in Vanasthalipuram. During that time a new unit from Panchvathi Mineral Waters will be launched. Surpana will also attend that party. My ‘Ramayanam’ will start with the way Surpana will behave with Seeta Lakshmi in the party.
