Veteran industrialist Sri Mullapudi Harischandra Prasad passed away today. He was 91. He was the Chairman and Managing Director of Andhra Sugars which he established in August 1947.
Famous producer, BVSN Prasad of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner reacted and spoke few words about prominent industrialist, Late Sri Mullapudi Harischandra Prasad. He said, “I consider Mullapudi Harischandra Prasad garu as my father. He is my father’s close friend and a role model for all of us. He is a prominent figure in Tanuku just like Sir Arthur Cotton is to Godavari district. He took interest and contributed for the development of Tanuku. He is the inspiration for all industrialists in Andhra Pradesh. Our banner which was inaugurated by him delivered many super hit films for the past 25 years. It’s very unfortunate to loose a great person like Mullapudi Harischandra Prasad. We cannot replace another person in his place. I pray God for this great personality’s soul to rest in peace and convey my heart felt condolences to his family members.”
