‘Kolaveri Di’, the song which made wonders in the entire world has a different story to tell when it comes to parent product. The movie ‘3’ which was directed by Rajnikanth’s daughter and Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya could not yield expected results leading to the bleeding of the distributors. The most affected among them is producer Natti Kumar who bought Telugu rights for Rs 6 cores and could not collect even Rs 2 crores. Thinking that Rajnikanth would give some relief he approached Rajnikanth for compensation and promptly Rajni issued a press note disassociating him from the movie ‘3’. He clarified saying, “I’ve nothing to do with the film ‘3’ starring Dhanush and Shruti Haasan as I’m not involved in its business.” It’s very unfortunate that the movie whose song made wonders did flop at the box-office.
