We are aware that Annapurna Studios launched Annapurna International School of Film and Media (AISFM), which is Asia’s largest film school. This AISFM started various short term courses in the year 2011 and introduced degree and masters courses six months later. Admissions for the degree and masters courses for the academic year 2012-13 opened on Thursday, the 2nd August. Addressing the students on this subject Nagarjuna said, “We have established this film school with the aim of providing technical film and media skills to the young talent and introduce them to the film industry as skilled persons. Hence we have teamed up with Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU) and introduced new courses. We will ensure that our students will be proficient by the time they complete their courses. Thereby we will see good results in the film industry.” This programme was also attended by CEO of AISFM Kurt Inderbitzin.
